Confluence Scroll Fix — Chrome Extension
Last updated: February 25, 2026
Confluence Scroll Fix is a browser extension that fixes a cursor/scroll jumping bug in the Confluence Server editor (CONFSERVER-100547). This policy explains how the extension handles user data.
This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. Specifically:
The extension operates entirely within your browser. It detects Confluence editor pages by checking for Confluence-specific HTML elements in the page DOM. When a Confluence editor is found, it applies a local CSS and JavaScript fix to prevent unwanted scroll jumping. All processing happens locally on your device.
The extension requires access to all URLs because Confluence Server can be self-hosted on any domain. The extension only activates on pages that contain Confluence-specific elements. No page content is read, extracted, or transmitted.
This extension does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external resources.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on the extension's GitHub repository.
